Cyclone Asani: Depression over Southeast, South Andaman Sea moved towards North

New Delhi, Mar 21 (ANI): India Meteorological Department scientist RK Jenamani on March 20 informed that the depression which formed over Southeast and South Andaman Sea has moved towards the North. On top of that, IMD has predicted that it can be intensified into a cyclonic storm. Speaking to ANI, he said, “The depression formed over Southeast and South Andaman Sea has moved towards the North. There are chances that the depression will intensify into a cyclonic storm by tomorrow evening. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to occur over the region.”
