Decisions taken for ease of doing farming and welfare of all sections of society: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), December 18 (ANI): On the first anniversary of Rajasthan Government Farmers’ Meet was organized in Jaipur. On this occasion, the CM Ashok Gehlot launched 'Farmer Welfare Fund' worth Rs 1000 crore and released 'Rajasthan Agriculture Processing, Agriculture Business and Agriculture Export Promotion Policy-2019'. He also launched 'Krishi Gyan Dhara' programme to link farmers with the latest farming technologies. CM Gehlot said that these important initiatives would help the state in the direction of 'Ease of Doing Farming’. CM Gehlot appealed to the progressive farmers to share their experiences of increasing production based on new techniques with other farmers and also train them for use of drip or sprinkler irrigation method and other ideas of selling agriculture products on better prices. During the event, Chief Minister distributed cheques to the beneficiary farmers of various agriculture and horticulture schemes. He also visited the exhibition put by various departments and institutions and praised the innovations done by the farmers.
