Defence Minister advises BRO to adopt latest technology to boost infrastructure in border areas

New Delhi, May 07 (ANI): Amid the increasing Chinese presence in Northern Sector, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on May 07 called upon BRO to further enhance its capability through optimum use to technology and strive to strengthen the infrastructure of the border areas at a faster pace. “We are aware of Chinese presence in Northern sector. They try to reach mountainous areas rapidly because of deft construction techniques. BRO must work in parallel and use technology to enhance its capabilities. Government is providing support to BRO in this direction,” Defence Minister Singh added.
