Delhi Police arrest auto-lifter

New Delhi, November 29 (ANI): Dwarka District of Delhi Police under the strategic operation “Varchasv” has arrested one desperate snatcher cum auto-lifter. During anti-snatching picket checking at new 100 Foot Road, coming from Uttam Nagar East Metro Station, a Police team saw a person who was coming from the Uttam Nagar Terminal side on a motorcycle. He was signalled to stop the motorcycle but he tried to flee from the spot but they swung into action and caught him. On enquiry, the motorcycle which was in his possession was found to be stolen. The apprehended person was identified as Sunny. During interrogation, accused Sunny disclosed that he was earlier involved in 15 cases including the case of snatching, theft, robbery and arms act. Accused Sunny also disclosed his involvement in 7 other cases of motor vehicle theft. Three other vehicles were also recovered from his possession.
