Delhi Police arrests 5 for robbing Rs 20 lakh

New Delhi, December 18 (ANI): Delhi Police has arrested five accused for allegedly robbing Rs 20 lakh cash in Geeta Colony area of Shahdara from a businessman. The accused were identified as Nausad, Salman, Deepak, Asif and Imran. The incident took place when complainant Jayantilal was going to Chandni Chowk from Gandhi Nagar after collecting cash from business transactions from various shops. When he reached Geeta Colony flyover all the accused surrounded him and robbed cash from him at the gunpoint. During the interrogation it was revealed that Asif was the main conspirator and used to work in one of the shops in Gandhi Nagar. Police has recovered Rs 1 lakh in cash, one motorcycle purchased from robbed money, a country made pistol, live cartridge and one mobile phone from them.
