Delhi Police busts ISI-backed terror module

New Delhi, October 29(ANI): With the arrest of four sharpshooters, Delhi Police Special Cell has busted an ISI-backed terror module. The arrested sharpshooters have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh, Gurjeet, Harmander Singh and Sukhdev. They all were members of the Landa Harike – Harvinder Rinda alliance. Harmander and Sukhdev were involved in managing drone deliveries and weapons consignments close to the Indo-Pak border in Punjab. On the basis of specific input, the police team nabbed accused Lakhwinder from Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi. In his instance, police apprehended the other accused Gurjeet near ISBT Kashmiri Gate. On their sustained interrogation, Gurjeet revealed about the hideout of Harmendar and Sukhdev in Punjab’s Moga after which police nabbed both of them. Police recovered Drone-delivered five Chinese HE grenades, One AK-47 assault rifle, one MP-5 submachine gun, one pump action rifle, nine semi-automatic pistols and 33 live cartridges from their possession.
