Delhi Police organises All-India Women’s Karate Championship – 2022

New Delhi, March 09 (ANI): The first All-India Women’s Karate Championship – 2022 organised by Delhi Police on the occasion of International Women’s Day concluded at Talkatora Stadium. In total, 444 girls and women from all parts of the country took part in the tournament.Girls from Haryana, Delhi & Uttar Pradesh remained dominant in winning Gold medals in all categories. Rakesh Asthana, Commissioner of Police presented Gold Medals with cash rewards and Immunity Booster kits to each winner of all categories. Congratulating the winners, Rakesh Asthana emphasised that participation in the tournament is more important than winning medals. The CP also presented mementoes to all Judges, Referees and sponsors and thanked them for making the tournament successful.
