Delhi Police scaling down security arrangements in Jahangirpuri, says DCP North-West

New Delhi, Apr 23 (ANI): Days after the clashes between two communities in the Jahangirpuri area during the Hanuman Jayanti procession, the ‘Sadbhavna meeting’ was organised on April 22 to maintain peace and harmony in the violence-hit area. While speaking on the same, North-West Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Usha Rangnani on April 22 informed that Delhi Police is scaling down the security arrangements in the area. Speaking to ANI, she said, “It was a confidence-building measure. All are staying unitedly. Hindus and Muslims have lived like brothers in this country and will continue to do so. We’re scaling down security arrangements.”
