Development pace of Rajasthan has increased due to safe and smooth roads: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), August 01 (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot laid the foundation stone of the development works of new roads of 1,514 villages in the state costing Rs 2,422 crore. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that due to safe and accessible roads, the development pace of Rajasthan has increased. He said that every village is connected by strong roads. The state government is laying a network of high-quality roads across the state so that the travel of the people can be made safe and smooth. Along with this, the Chief Minister also said that Rajasthan has joined the leading states in terms of the road network. The government has set a target of developing more than 1 lakh km roads in the state. Out of this, the development work of 65 thousand km roads has been completed so far. Roads are also being constructed through PWD in Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Municipalities. The work of construction and widening of new roads will continue in the future also.
