DFCCIL team inspected Rewari section of Dedicated Freight Corridor

Rewari (Haryana) July 27 (ANI): Dedicated Freight corridor corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL) is working round the clock to complete the Dedicated Freight corridor project. Under this, the team of DFCCIL recently inspected the section from Delhi to Rewari through rail Car. The inspection work was carried out under the supervision of senior officials of DFCCIL. The team took stock of the equipment and facilities required for train operation at the stations built on this section as well as the ongoing work on the corridor. The various sections of the Freight Corridor have already been operational for movement of goods. Freight trains can run on this line at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The long-haul double stack container trains can easily operate on these tracks. Once the freight corridor is fully operational, not only will freight traffic increase manifold, but the existing ports and industrial areas will also be connected.
