DFFCCIL signs MoU with Indian Institute of Science

Bengaluru (Karnataka) March 22 (ANI): Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has signed an MoU with Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru, Karnataka, aiming to enhance safety in Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC). The MOU was signed between the Group General Manager, Mechanical of DFCCIL, Jayant Kumar and IISc Registrar Capt Sudhir Warrier, in the presence of RK Jain, MD, DFCCIL and Govind Rangrajan, Director of IISc. Under the MoU, Indian Institute of Science will provide its technical expertise to make the transportation system in the Dedicated Freight Corridor safer, reliable and sustainable. On this occasion, RK Jain, MD, DFCCIL said that Dedicated Freight Corridor, which will be running the Freight trains, going to become a game-changer in the freight operation logistics in India. They are now having a tie-up with the IISc, which will give technical support in the form of a startup. "We will give them entire financial support, experimental support and whatever type of support they need," he added.
