Director Siddharth Anand basks in Pathaan’s success; credits ‘vision’ behind film’s achievement

Mumbai, Feb 03 (ANI): Basking in the success of Bollywood’s recent blockbuster ‘Pathaan’, film director Siddharth Anand on February 03 in Mumbai credited his inner ‘vision’ behind the movie’s triumph. Anand, in an exclusive interview with ANI, stressed on the action genre not being explored in the country. Calling action genre among the ones that are hard to execute, the direct opened up about his experiences with his past films and said that the success of the film surprised him. He also expressed his gratitude to the audience for the same. ‘Pathaan’ has mark its name in Indian cinematic history with its revenue in the Box Office. The Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer film was in controversy for the longest time before hitting the theatres. However, squashing down the boycott possibilities, the movie did amazingly well as soon as it was released.
