Dream Come True! 18-year-old Tanvi Sharma joins Indian Merchant Navy after one month of self-study

Rajouri (J&K), July 13, 2026 (ANI): A teenage girl from Rajouri cleared Indian Merchant Exam after just one-month of self-study. She had also cleared Indian Navy Exam after completing her 12th in 2025. Tanvi Sharma always wanted ‘a unique career’ different from what students of her age would generally pursue. She wanted to set an example for others through her hard work and determination. Tanvi travelled to places like Goa, Mumbai, Delhi to take the examination. It all proved worth as she is all set to join Indian Merchant Navy now. She credited her family especially mother for her success.
