‘Ekta Sammelan’ organised in Poonch to promote communal harmony

Poonch (J&K), Aug 12 (ANI): With an aim to fortify the bond of love and communal harmony among the people of Jammu & Kashmir, an Ekta Sammelan or a peace conference was organized by army in the Poonch district. During the event, representatives of different religious communities came together on a single platform and shared their views on national integration, humanity and brotherhood. Reprsentatives discussed about the role of religion in the betterment of society and how it can build strong connection among people of different faiths. Praising this profound act of army, participants said that such programmes should be organised on regular basis and they play a significant role in helping people to know about each other’s religion.These events not only spread a message of religious coexistence but also pave a way for building a peaceful and harmonious society.
