Ensure strict implementation of night curfew, health protocol: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) November 23 (ANI):The Rajasthan Government has decided to install night curfew in 8 districts of the state due to the rising cases of coronavirus. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced this while reviewing the status of corona infection in the state.Now, there will be a night curfew from 8 pm to 6 am in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar and Bhilwara district. The state government has also increased the fine amount from Rs 200 to Rs 500 for not wearing masks to control the corona infection in the state.During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the concerned District Collectors, Police Commissioners and Superintendents of Police to implement strictly the night curfew, maximum 100 people in marriage, social distancing, wearing mask and other guidelines at the ground level to prevent rapid spread of COVID-19 infection.The Chief Minister asserted that at a time when corona infection is spreading rapidly, the gathering of more people than the permissible limit in marriage ceremonies would increase the risk of infection.CM Gehlot instructed to increase the penalty amount from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 25 thousand for gathering of more than 100 persons in these events.
