EU Parliament delegation arrives in Srinagar, will assess ground situation

Srinagar (J&K), Oct 29 (ANI): A European Parliament Delegation arrived in Srinagar on October 29. The delegation of 27 EU MPs is scheduled to visit Kashmir today. The visit comes on the heels of a US Congressional meeting in Washington, where a group of lawmakers expressed concern about the situation in J&K following the Centre’s move to end the state’s special granted under the Constitution and bifurcate it into two union territories. Their visit will give them a clear view of the development and governance priorities of the J&K region.
