Experts at Geneva Press Club Outline J&K’s shift toward development

The Shivi Development Society hosted a side event titled "Empowering Tomorrow: Youth Innovation, Gender Equality and the Transition to Peace (in Jammu and Kashmir)" at the Geneva Press Club. The event was organized on the sidelines of the 63rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Bringing together civil society members, activists, and international observers, the session addressed how Jammu and Kashmir has navigated past socio-political challenges and is transitioning toward long-term peace, regional stability, and socio-economic development. During the discussions, panellists emphasised the pivotal role that young people and women play in shaping the region's future through education, entrepreneurship, and economic leadership.
