Experts in Geneva support India's stand on Indus Waters Treaty

Shivi Development Society organised a side event in Geneva on the sidelines of the 63rd UN Human Rights Council session, focusing on community water rights and the Indus Waters Treaty. Speakers discussed Pakistan’s water governance, concerns over Indian hydropower projects, and water distribution in Sindh and Balochistan. The discussion also highlighted domestic challenges including agricultural patterns, urban pressure and ageing canal infrastructure.
