Exports must constitute major chunk of economy: Pranab Mukherjee

Kolkata (WB), Aug 26 (ANI): Former President and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee at an event in Kolkata expressed concern over the economy. He said that exports must constitute at least 1/3 of $ 5-trillion economy. Pranab Mukherjee said, “Exports must constitute the most important segment of our economy. Exports must constitute at least 1/3 of the total worth of the economy (target of USD 5-trillion economy) must come from international trade sectors.”
