Apr 22, 2026
Kanpur (UP), Anantnag (J&K), Karnal (Haryana), April 22, 2026 (ANI): As the nation remembers the Pahalgam terror attack, marking one year since the deadly incident that claimed 26 lives, Family members of Pahalgam attack victims remembered the incident. “It will be a year. I remember that moment: I was sleeping, and then I got the bad news... Life wasn't the same anymore... It felt like he would come back... I knew it, but my mind wouldn't accept it... It is very painful because I remember him, and it is the good memories which trouble me...,” said Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal’s Father. “......Remembering it a year later is still very tough for me, as it was that day. Hindu genocide which happened that day and 26 people were killed. I don't think there was ever a terror attack where people of a particular religion were targeted and husbands were killed in front of their wives. This should be the first and last attack on our religion. Entire world should come together to boycott the nation which propagates terrorism. The first steps are being taken by our nation, it is good that we know who is an enemy, who propagates terrorism and who do we need to stand against. No tolerance against terrorism is very important. I hope we will take more such steps in the days to come...Everyone knows that Pakistan is the one country which supports terrorism...Roots of all terror attacks, in India or elsewhere, are always connected to Pakistan - whether they admit it or not...My anger for Pakistan is very personal; they hit my life at a point where my life has finished. Now it is just an individual who is alive. This is not the case with just me but with all 26; not only with those 26 but also with every terror victim's family. We will always say that there should be no talks with Pakistan or anything else, not even sports. Coming to reality....,” said Aishanya Dwivedi.
