Family hopes for safe return of Merchant Navy officer abducted by Nigerian pirates

Mahendragarh (Haryana), Dec 10 (ANI): The family members of a Merchant Navy officer Jai Singh, who was kidnapped by Nigerian pirates, are hopeful that he will return to home very soon. On December 4, the ship was reportedly hijacked by pirates near the western coast of Nigeria. Along with Merchant Navy officer 18 Indians were also kidnapped by the pirates. While speaking to media person, a family member said, “A letter had come to him in a response from the company over the issue, which further assured him that his son will be brought back home safely very soon.”
