FIR filed against former NRC official

Guwahati (Assam), Feb 14 (ANI): The Guwahati Police on February 14 has filed an FIR against a former official of National Register of Citizens (NRC). “A complaint has been launched by executive director of NRC. Allegation is that the employee has not shared the password of some email- IDs before leaving the organisation, in that connection a case has been registered; investigation is under process,” said Guwahati’s Police Commissioner, MP Gupta. Assam NRC list had gone offline from the official website recently. The final list was published on August 31, 2019.
