‘First learn Congress’ history then stay in party’: Azad on leaders ditching party line on Article 370

New Delhi, Aug 06 (ANI): After Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s proposal of scrapping Article 370 of the Indian constitution was passed in Rajya Sabha and the main Opposition party Congress split as its leaders have different views on the proposal. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad today reacted on the party leaders who are supporting Shah’s proposal. He asked the leaders to first know about the history of Congress and Jammu and Kashmir and then stay in the party. Yesterday, Congress leader Janardan Dwivedi differed with his party on the abrogation of Article 370, saying a ‘historical mistake’ has been corrected by the Centre. Deepender S Hooda and Bhubaneshwar Kalita were among those who supported the abrogation of Article 370.
