Food grains can be sourced locally for mid-day meal: Dharmendra Pradhan on PM Poshan Scheme

New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI):Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on September 29 said that pre-school children of 1-5 years of age attending 'Bal Vatikas' will also be covered under the PM Poshan Shakti Nirman (POSHAN) Scheme. Under this scheme, nutritious food grains cultivated locally can be sourced for the mid-day meal in schools.
