Free India from the menace of single-use plastic, urges PM Modi

New Delhi, Sep 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to join the exercise (plogging) to ban on single-use plastic on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary on October 2.He made this statement while addressing the nation through his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday (September 29). Earlier this week, PM Modi received the Global Goalkeeper award by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for his government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
