Gajendra Shekhawat inspects 564 MLD Okhla Sewerage Treatment Plant in Delhi

New Delhi, April 06 (ANI): Union Minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on April 06 inspected the 564 MLD Okhla Sewerage Treatment Plant in Delhi. The Plant is currently being constructed under the Yamuna Action plan-III for which funds are being provided by the Central government. "Delhi has 2 per cent of the total stretch of Yamuna and 80 per cent pollution load of the 1,300 km long river is in this 22 km stretch. The Central government is working under Namami Gange Programme for a solution," he said.
