Genome testing is done immediately in positive Omicron cases, says Dr Niranjan Mishra

Bhubaneshwar (Odisha), Dec 18 (ANI): Director of Public Health of Odisha, Dr Niranjan Mishra on December 18 told ANI that people coming from 'at risk' countries are sent to seven days’ home quarantine. “We are increasing our bed strength, ICUs and oxygen availability. People coming from 'at risk' countries are sent to seven days of home quarantine. We are increasing our Omicron surveillance and genome testing is done immediately if any positive case is detected,” said Dr Niranjan Mishra.
