Benaulim (Goa), Nov 05, 2026 (ANI): Goa CM Pramod Sawant attended 4th Conference of Mining Ministers on Reforms in the Mines and Coal Sector in Benaulim on Nov 05. “... A two-day mining conference is being held in Goa, attended by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, state mining ministers, secretaries and directors. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the mining reforms introduced in 2015 have benefited states across the country. These reforms enabled Goa to restart mining after the 2012 Supreme Court-ordered closure. We have already auctioned 17 mining blocks, and Goa’s new dump policy could facilitate the auction of approximately 39 million tonnes of mining dumps...,” said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
