Goa CM Pramod Sawant inaugurates refurbished ministerial block

Mumbai, May 31 (ANI): On the occasion of the 36th Goa’s Statehood Day, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on May 30 inaugurated the newly refurbished ministerial block. ‘Mantralaya’ building has been revamped considering the state’s requirements for the next 50 years. The state government has renovated the existing ministerial block building with the latest amenities at Porvorim, three kilometres from the state capital Panaji. The Mantralaya building will continue housing Chief Minister’s office, cabins for the cabinet ministers and also a conference room. The interiors of the building reflect the rich culture of the state, which is also known as Lord Parushuram Bhoomi. The idols of Lord Ganapati, Lord Sri Krishna and Lord Vishnu are also part of the interiors of this building. “I wish everyone a happy Goa Statehood Day. Our government has been continuously working to maintain the identity of our culture. This time, work has been done in the ministry to reflect the culture,” said Goa CM Pramod Sawant.
