Gram Panchayat is foundation of development: CM Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow (UP), Jan 16 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 16 interacted with Gram Pradhans via video conferencing to discuss the standing of rural areas of the state. Addressing the video conference, UP CM emphasised on the requisite of strengthening the Gram Panchayat of India. “PM Modi had said that the basis of Indian economy is Gram Panchayat. The stronger they are, the more we will achieve the goal of self-reliance. Gram Panchayat is the foundation of development,” said CM Yogi. In order to attain this goal, UP CM said that the proceedings of constructing Gram Panchayat Secretariats have been taken forward.
