Sep 08, 2026
Gujarat’s daily bus commuters are set to receive significant financial relief as the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) revises its passenger pass structure. The new changes will benefit more than 2.5 lakh employees, workers and regular commuters by allowing longer travel validity at lower costs. Under the revised monthly pass system, passengers will now pay the equivalent of 15 days’ fare for a 30-day pass, compared with the earlier 18-day fare, offering up to 50% relief. Similarly, the quarterly pass fare has been reduced from 54 days to 45 days, while its validity remains 90 days. The move aims to make public transport more affordable, ease travel expenses for regular passengers and encourage greater use of ST bus services across Gujarat.
