Gujarat activates emergency repair network after heavy rains

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), July 10 (ANI): Amid heavy rains lashing several parts of Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel swiftly led a high-level review and ordered immediate repair work across all affected districts. The Roads and Buildings Department, in coordination with NHAI and local bodies, launched 24/7 resurfacing and repair operations, especially in worst-hit areas like Godhara, Morbi, Surat, Navsari, and Junagadh. The work continues even at night to ensure minimal disruption to daily life. The state's prompt response has not only brought much-needed relief but also restored public trust. Gujarat, under CM Patel’s leadership, is emerging as a model for quick and coordinated disaster response, showcasing that effective governance shines brightest during crises.
