Gujarat: Indo-American company impressed by Vibrant Gujarat, provides employment to 1,200 artisans

Vadodara (Gujarat), December 22 (ANI): Perennial, an American company which manufactures world-class rugs and furniture and its fabric, is planning to come to India. They were impressed by Vibrant Gujarat under the Make in India initiative. With the help of the facility provided by Vibrant Gujarat in India, this company had set up its first plant for making rugs in Manjusar GIDC near Vadodara in 2019. This factory earlier had 10 weavers which have now increased to 1,200 who are experts in this field and have joined from different parts of the country. The carpets here are not for common people and are made keeping in mind the requirements of the rich people and are very expensive. The carpets are exported to more than 20 countries in the world. Due to PM Modi's vision and Vibrant Gujarat Initiative, Perennial is not only the one Indo-American company that is flourishing in Vadodara.
