Gandhinagar (Gujarat), June 11 ANI: In line with the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Gujarat is leading the way in food security through the One Nation One Ration Card scheme. Launched in August 2019 as a pilot project, the initiative ensures that migrant workers and daily wage earners receive 5 kg of wheat and rice per person per month. With over 1.74 crore beneficiaries and 17,000+ GPS-enabled Fair Price Shops, Gujarat ensures real-time tracking, transparency, and efficient delivery. This tech-driven, empathy-led model reflects PM Modi’s dream of a hunger-free India. The scheme is not just a policy but a transformative step toward equality and empowerment.
