Gujarat leads the way in Digital Education with GCAS admission portal

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), July 26 (ANI): In a bid to promote transparency and innovation in education, Gujarat has launched the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) Portal—an integrated platform for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programmes across 14 government universities. Available in Gujarati and English, GCAS offers a user-friendly experience, helping students apply to multiple colleges from a single portal. With minimal paperwork, students simply upload their profile and academic details, making the process smooth and transparent. At the GCAS hub in Ahmedabad, a tech support team works round the clock—resolving queries and ensuring glitch-free operations. By going digital, Gujarat has made admissions easier, fairer, and more inclusive—setting a benchmark in higher education.
