Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed himself to protect religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits: Amit Shah

New Delhi, April 21 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on April 20 participated in the celebration of the 400th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur at the historic Red Fort. While at the event, Amit Shah remembered the sacrifices of Sikh community in protecting the Hindu religion. “There is no person in the country who is not aware of the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur. People from every religion respect him. Hindu religion remained protected because of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice. Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed himself to protect the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits,” said Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
