‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign: Shortage of national flags at shops in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), August 04 (ANI): As the demand of the National Flag skyrocketed amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the shops in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, went short of flags well before the big day on August 04. Tricolour’s demand this year has increased due to the campaign announced by PM Modi to celebrate the 75th years of Indian Independence by hoisting a flag for three days in a row starting from August 13 to August 15. “There is a shortage of National Flags this year as there is a huge demand for them ahead of August 15. After the announcement of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign to mark 75 years of independence, the demand for the Tricolour went high,” a shopkeeper said.
