Panchkula (Haryana), July 07, 2026 (ANI): Haryana CM Nayab Saini attended distribution of cash awards to outstanding sportspersons in Panchkula on July 07. “...The Haryana government is providing a monthly honorarium of ₹20,000 to Arjuna Awardees and ₹5,000 to Bhim Award winners. Every champion begins their journey from the soil of the village—we all know this—or from the school playground. That is why we have established 2,000 sports nurseries in Haryana for athletes aged 8 to 19. Our government provides monthly scholarships ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹2,000, and we are providing ₹500 per day as diet money to athletes in 25 residential sports academies. We have spent approximately ₹1,000 crores on sports infrastructure over the last 12 years...,” said Nayab Saini.
