“Having serious dispute with China, PM didn’t hesitate to move army despite COVID”: Jaishankar

Dharwad (Karnataka), April 02 (ANI): Reiterating that India’s relationship with China is not normal and that tension persists along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on April 02 said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had no hesitation in moving the Indian Army and Indian Air Force in very large numbers to the borders in 2020, even when the COVID pandemic was going on. During an interaction session with intellectuals at Dharwad, S Jaishankar said, “We have serious dispute after 2020, there is tension on the border. The fact is our relationship with China is not normal and it will be not normal if a large military force is at the Line of Actual Control. Even in 2020 when COVID was going on Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not hesitant to move the Indian Army and the Air Force at the border.”
