Henna unites communities on eve of Gauri Vrat in Gujarat’s Vadodara

Vadodara (Gujarat), Jul 11(ANI): Setting an example of communal harmony, Muslim girls applied henna on hands of Hindu girls on occasion of Gauri Vrat in Gujarat’s Vadodara. Pursuing a continued practice, Muslim girls came to apply henna on 125 hindu girls. It sends a message secularism and social tolerance among children. Speaking to ANI, they said, “Girls from both the communities wait for this day. In this way we take an initiative to promote communal harmony and happiness among people."
