Hijab Controversy: Grave violation of Constitution, says Owaisi

Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 08 (ANI): Amid a row over wearing hijab in college in Karnataka, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi on February 08 stated that it’s a grave violation of the Constitution.“I pray that our sisters fighting for their right to wear hijab are successful in their fight. Grave violation of the Constitution's Articles 15, 19 and 21 is being committed in Karnataka. I condemn this decision of Karnataka's BJP government,” Owaisi said.
