"Honoured": Indian Navy officers after PM Modi hails Navika Sagar Parikrama in 'Mann Ki Baat'

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Sept 29, 2025 (ANI): Lieutenant Commander Dilna K and Lieutenant Commander Roopa A expressed joy after PM Modi lauded them in the 126th episode of Mann Ki Baat. The two Indian Navy officers were hailed for successfully completing the sailing expedition, Navika Sagar Parikrama braving extreme weather conditions and challenging seas. Navika Sagar Parikrama II is an extraordinary sailing expedition of circumnavigating the Globe onboard Indian Naval Sailing Vessel Tarini. The duo had trained for three years for the expedition which was flagged off on Oct 2, 2024 and completed on May 29, 2025. The duo popularly called DilRoo, covered approximately 50,000 km across 4 continents, 3 oceans, and 3 Great Capes.
