Jammu and Kashmir human rights defender Javed Beigh condemned Pakistan’s October 22, 1947, tribal invasion, alleging atrocities against civilians and continued human rights violations in PoJK and PoGB. He criticised political repression and economic hardships in the region, and contrasted the situation with infrastructure development and improved connectivity in Indian Jammu and Kashmir.
