I-Pragati: Gujarat’s new system for real-time police case updates

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], November 28 (ANI): In a fast-moving world, citizens expect quick and transparent policing services. To address this, the Gujarat Government has launched i-Pragati — Intelligent Progress Reporting And Grievance Addressing through Technology. Introduced by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in May 2025, the system ensures complainants no longer need to repeatedly visit police stations. Citizens now receive real-time updates on their FIRs and complaints directly on their mobile phones, making policing more transparent and citizen-friendly.
