Iceland, India have opportunities to boost ties in trade, energy, fisheries: PM Jakobsdóttir

Copenhagen (Denmark), May 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Prime Minister of Iceland Katrin Jakobsdóttir in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 04.Post-meeting Iceland PM Jakobsdóttir said, “India and Iceland have many opportunities on issues of climate cooperation and geothermal energy along with deepening cooperation in carbon binding and fisheries sector. We talked about culture and gender equality.” She further said, “India and Iceland are different countries. India is a continent in itself. Our country has unspoiled nature which is unique. We talked about Yoga as well, it's quite popular in Iceland. A lot of people practice it regularly.”
