Amritsar (Punjab), Oct 08 (ANI): Informing about the recent death threat, actor Shehnaaz Gill’s father, Santokh Singh, received a death threat from ‘unidentified’ person on a phone call. Santokh Singh alleged that the caller identified himself as ‘Happy’. The caller claimed to kill Santokh Singh before Diwali. He sighted him being a Hindu leader as the reason behind the threat. Santokh expressed fear over his safety and said he will leave Punjab if no arrests are made. A case has been registered in the matter. Amritsar SP Jaswant Kaur informed that the leader has already been provided with gunmen for protection. “If I feel unsafe like I am feeling now, then I would leave Punjab and shift to Chandigarh or Mumbai. If no arrests are made in a few days, then I would leave Punjab. Yesterday I got a threat call from a person named Happy who threatened to kill me before Diwali. I think they want to target me because I am a Hindu leader,” the actor’s father said.
