IndAus ECTA’: India-Australia sign interim free trade agreement

New Delhi, Apr 02 (ANI): India and Australia signed an interim free trade agreement on April 02. India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (IndAus ECTA) was signed by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Australian Minister for Trade Dan Tehan in a virtual ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Scott Morrison. “India-Australia are natural partners, connected by shared values of democracy, rule of law, and transparency. Like 2 brothers, the 2 nations supported each other during the pandemic,” said Piyush Goyal.
