India has set target to increase area usage in palm oil sector to 6.5 lakh hectares: PM

Hyderabad, Feb 05 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 05 attended the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in Hyderabad. At the event, PM Modi said, “In the next few years, we want to take area usage in the palm oil sector to 6.5 lakh hectares...We're focusing on food security as well as nutrition security.”
