India mourns Asha Bhonsle’s demise as legendary singer passes away aged 92

Mumbai (Maharashtra) 12 April 2026 (ANI): Legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at the age of 92, confirms her son Anand Bhosle. She was admitted here due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection. Legendary singer Asha Bhosle's son, Anand Bhosle says, "My mother passed away today. People can pay their last respects to her at 11 am tomorrow at Casa Grande, Lower Parel, where she lived. Her last rites will be performed at 4 pm tomorrow at Shivaji Park."
