New Delhi, December 17, 2025 (ANI): The US Embassy in India on Wednesday welcomed the arrival of the final batch of Boeing India AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for the Indian Army, calling it the fulfilment of commitments under the India-US defence partnership, after deliveries faced repeated delays. In a post on X, the embassy said the delivery advanced the joint statement issued by the US President and the Prime Minister of India, marking another step forward in the US-India Major Defense Partnership and reflecting a reliable, growing defence relationship, including cooperation in co-production, training and technology exchange. The Indian Army has now received all six Apaches contracted for the Army Aviation Corps, which will be deployed after assembly and inspections and based in Jodhpur. The first batch arrived later than planned, with timelines shifting from 2023 to 2024 and beyond. The AH-64E, the most advanced Apache variant, features cutting-edge sensors, weapons and networked capabilities designed for complex, multi-domain battlefields, significantly boosting India’s attack helicopter firepower.
